Cormorant

This Cormorant is the prototype for our model of S-Styled guitars. In other words, it is truly one of a kind. The headstock on this guitar is a unique, multilayered and multileveled with locally sourced black walnut, roasted maple and unroasted maple.

-Wenge fretboard bound with wenge, inlaid with a perimeter of Mother of Pearl binding.
-Tiger stripe maple neck.
-Mother of pearl fret markers.
-Highly figured black limba/korina solid body.
-Smokey black Nitro-Cellulose finish.
-Antiqued white perlodid pickguard and matching backplate, made on our CNC.
-Birdman's own wound vintage SSH pickups. (A bright underwound classic pickup sound.)
-Birdman's house made black korina/limba pickup covers.
-African blackwood nut.
-Fretboard compound radius 9.5"-12".
-Two carbon fiber rod neck supports.
-Dual-action truss rod with headstock access.
-Bare white ebony wooden bridge support insert.

Our Cormorants are well built, excellent playing guitars. They are usually priced much higher. We are letting this one go lower, as our prototype. It gets played regularly, so its finish has mild wear and tear marks on it.
